Georgia Deciding to Leave Common Core

Just the other day, Georgia passed a bill for the state to withdraw from Common Core and return control of K-12 standards to the state and local school districts. This comes after only 3 years of implementing the CCGPS, and a year after withdrawing from PARCC

  1. I a GA teacher who is frustrated with our state's lack of continuity or consistency. Our students have huge gaps in their mathematical knowledge because we've been hopping from curriculum to curriculum for so many years. This makes me want to teach in another state (or not at all).
